Welcome to the website for the Bybrook Benefice, part of the Chippenham Deanery in the Diocese of Bristol.

We are a group of ten rural parishes based around the villages of Biddestone, Castle Combe, Grittleton, Kington St. Michael, Littleton Drew, Nettleton & Burton, North Wraxall, Slaughterford, West Kington and Yatton Keynell, alongside a number of smaller hamlets.

We believe that the church is an important part of the local community, but that we are also called to be a part of the wider world.  Now more than ever, how we share with one another is changing.

Our churches are popular with tourists and we frequently meet people from around the world.  We will be praying for everyone at this time, who can no longer travel to friends or family and for all who are ill or isolating from covid-19.

Please make yourself at home on our website, as you would in our churches.  We hope you find something that helps you take time to reflect, pray and meet with God.  When we are all free to travel again, perhaps we’ll meet then.

Across the group we offer a wide range of services, some of which is reflected in our online resources for families and individuals here

More is available from the Church of England, of which we are a part, at https://www.churchofengland.org/more/media-centre/church-online
