Social Life

We gather together in many ways across the benefice – planned and unplanned. You’ll find the regular planned events here.

All Together @ 4

Church – but not really as you know it. Meeting every fourth Sunday in By Brook Valley School from 4:00-5:30pm this is church ‘all over the place’, for everyone.

Meeting together to explore a theme we then break into smaller groups opting for zones around the school we can choose to sing, have a bible study, discuss the theme, have craft activities, all coming together at the end for a short relaxed service of Holy Communion – or gather for coffee and refreshments if you prefer – before gathering again for food.

AT@4 is free but donations are welcomed.

Edward Bear

edward bear website

Edward Bear is for children under 5 and their parents/carers. It’s an opportunity to bring your children to church to something especially for them. We celebrate birthday’s together and have a time of singing, interactive Bible stories, making and playing.

The sessions take place at either Biddestone and Yatton Keynell churches on Friday’s and are free of charge. Drinks and biscuits are provided for adults and children as we spend time getting to know one another better.

The churches have a toilet and baby changing facilities which you are welcome to use.

Come along and meet Edward Bear himself: you can be sure of a warm welcome and lots of fun!
