Re-opening churches for worship

Following permission to resume public worship in England from 4th July we are pleased to share that some of our churches will be gathering together this Sunday alongside our online service which will continue to be shown.

12th July

Holy Communion

North Wraxall – 9.30am – led by Gillian Parkin

Nettleton + Burton – 11am – led by Gilliam Parkin

Slaughterford (BCP) – 11am – led by Marc Terry

Morning Praise:

Kington St Michael – 9.30am – led by Mike King

Yatton Keynell – 9.30am- led by Mark Terry, with Anjali Kanagaratnam

Though we are physically distant we are spiritually together.

Please join us for Holy Communion, this Sunday 26th April at 9:30am via our Facebook page:

As with last week members of our churches will be reading, praying and singing. Words will appear onscreen to help you through the service.

For those without Facebook the video will be viewable at the same time (and remain there after) through our benefice website on our new Worship at Home page: where you will also find the service sheet if you would like it.

Do get in touch if you want to be a part of the future online services.

The Compassion Bus visit to Yatton Keynell

On the 29th September at 10am in Yatton Keynell Village Hall, the churches of Yatton Keynell, Biddestone and Kington St Michael will be hosting a Compassion Sunday service of Holy Communion, after which there will be an opportunity to visit the Compassion Bus Experience at By Brook Valley School.

The bus will be available until 3pm for anyone who would like to visit the experience but cannot make the service.

This is an interactive tour of life in the developing world and will be a great opportunity to learn more about the Compassion project and experience what it is like for the children that they support.

Please do come along and encourage your friends to come too. We look forward to seeing you there!
